Poké Bowl Inspiration – The Classic Bowl
This version typifies contemporary poké bowls. Chilli, seaweed and onion are the cornerstones of most styles of poké. The addition or removal of one of these ingredients significantly changes the balance of flavours.
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
Amounts can be adjusted to your liking and can be increased to serve more people
- Mt Cook Alpine Salmon (approx 80g for 1 person)
- 1 Tablespoon Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Poké Sauce
- A pinch dried wakame
- A pinch chopped green onion
- A pinch chilli flakes
- A pinch sesame seeds
- A pinch lightly fried garlic
- Cooked rice
Method
- Pre-soak the dried wakame seaweed in water for 10min
- Toss 80g of diced Mt Cook Alpine Salmon with the hydrated wakame, green onion, chilli flakes, sesame seeds and the lightly fried garlic
- Add 1 tablespoon of the Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Poke sauce and combine
- Serve on a bed of rice
